The Canada Westie Passport is a national participation and rewards program designed to strengthen connections within Canada’s West Coast Swing community.

Created collaboratively by Canadian West Coast Swing event directors, the program encourages dancers to explore events across the country, support Canadian organizers, and build lasting relationships from coast to coast.

At its core, the Canada Westie Passport is about connection—between dancers, events, and communities—through shared experiences, travel, and participation.

Why We Created This

Canada is vast, and West Coast Swing communities are often separated by distance and regional scenes. While many Canadian dancers travel internationally, incredible opportunities also exist right here at home.

The Canada Westie Passport was created to encourage meaningful cross-country participation within Canada while keeping the program simple, fair, and accessible.

By focusing on involvement rather than competition, and connection rather than complexity, the program supports both dancers and event organizers—without creating administrative burden or barriers to entry.
